Hydraulic & Pneumatic Seals

Pressurised systems using air or hydraulic oil contain seals of various styles designed to maintain system pressures. Generally hydraulic systems are more highly pressurised than pneumatic and the style and material of the seals reflects this. Seals will be for single or double acting applications either piston or rod working. Should you wish us to identify seals please talk to our technical sales team as well as sending e-mail photographs, usually this is sufficient to identify particular seals. Hydraulic systems tend to have main cylinder seal, bearing rings, gland seal and o rings plus wiper seals. Pneumatic systems might well have cylinder seals and O rings only.
