A Rod End is essentially a Spherical Plain Bearing held inside a housing. The eye-shaped housing head is attached to a shank which has a thread.

Rod Ends come in female or male threads, or welding shanks and are available in both metric and imperial sizes. Rod Ends can be bought as either ‘maintenance free’ or ‘requiring maintenance’ versions.
